Homer V. Ballard, Jr., of Richmond, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012. He was the widower of Janet Bannister Ballard and the son of the late Homer and Hilda Ballard. He is survived by 3 brothers; Kenny Ballard (Linda), Jimmy Ballard (Roberta) and Michael Ballard (Stephanie), a sister, Helen Poore (David); stepchildren, Julie Snider Erdelyi and William “Billy” Snider and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 3rd from 10 am to 11 am at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home 11020 W. Broad St. where a memorial service will follow at 11 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Ducks Unlimited.
