TAYLOR, Betty Jean Cherry "Nana," of Midlothian, born December 21, 1934, won Victory in the Lord April 24, 2012 after courageous and hard-fought battles in this life. She was preceded in death and is now reunited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Cherry; siblings, Lila, Joan, Johnny and George; son, Richard; and granddaughter, Megan. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of over 59 years Robert Taylor; her children, Bobby and Gwen Taylor, David and Laura Taylor, Kathy and Kenny Sears; and her precious grandchildren, Erin, Robbie, Amanda, Courtney, Matt, Adam, Cory and Sydney. Her happiest times were those spent with her family, working with her beloved, David and Mac at Chesterfield Baptist Church, and cruising with friends. Everyone that has had the fortune of knowing Betty was truly blessed to know her. Friends and family are invited to attend a gathering on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chesterfield Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Pkwy., Chesterfield, Virginia. A private interment will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park in Virginia Beach. Please join the family in celebration of Betty's life at Bethia United Methodist Church, 10700 Winterpock Road, Chesterfield, Va. 23832, on Wednesday, May 2, at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions to be made to the Bethia United Methodist Church in Betty's honor.
