MILLS, Linda Kelley, 62, of Manquin, Va., passed away April 23, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Mills Jr.; and their daughter, Catherine McElroy. She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Farmer and Melissa Mills; two sons, W. L. Mills III and K.W. Leath; and two special children, D.W. Burnett and Samantha Shiflett; brother, Robert Kelley, sister, Dorothy Kelley; 19 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many other children, whose lives she touched. The family will receive friends at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee Davis Rd., from 3 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, where a service will follow at 4 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to VCU Massey Cancer Center, Thomas Center for Palliative Care or the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI).
