BLANKENSHIP, Eve K., passed away peacefully on Monday, April 23 at age 97. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcellus W. Blankenship. She is survived by her daughter, Janet B. Broughton and husband, Bill; son, Stuart W. Blankenship and wife, Marilyn; three granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Blankenship was the Bridal Consultant and China and Silver Manager for Schwarzschild Jewelers for almost 30 years. She was a longtime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Richmond. Born in Chase City, Va., on July 19, 1914, she enjoyed a long and interesting life and was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
